I am a slow walker, but I never go backward. –Abraham Lincoln- กก Everyone even animals and plants are accustomed to new environments and new circumstances as time goes by. In order to understand and get used to a new environment one only needs time. When a tree is planted, it takes time to become larger and create shade from the branches in a given environment. Moreover, a rooted tree is not easily moved from one site to another. As a Korean living in America, adjustment to life in a new environment resembles these same difficulties. I would like to illustrate the symbolism of the process of how a tree becomes rooted and how I am in time being transferred from one place to another. |
